Ruth is currently a student at Salt Lake Community College learning the fundamentals of plein air landscape. She won the 2025 Provost Award for her entry into the Salt Lake Community College Spring Arts Competition for her artwork titled Church Barn. She was surprised and delighted to receive that recognition. Ruth is happily painting full-time and enjoying the freedom to engage and create in her home art studio and in plein air wherever she may roam.
